The list of soldiers who are ready for promotion administratively must be checked for disciplinary complaints or an activity check. Promotions to E-1 Private and E-2 Private Second Class are done through the S-3 Operations (Training) Staff Section after the completion of BCT and RASP. Promotions to non-commissioned officer (NCO) require the solider to be in a billet which supports the promotion. Examples of NCO billets are; Fireteam Leader, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Medic, Platoon JTAC and Company Senior Medic. The policy of being in a billet which supports a promotion applies to the staff non-commissioned officer promotions as-well. Examples of SNCO billets are; Platoon Sergeant, Company Senior JTAC, Company First Sergeant and Battalion Sergeant Major.
Warrant Officer Candidate and Officer Candidate ranks are not considered promotions can can occur outside of a promotion ceremony. Lateral transitions in ranks such as E-4 Specialist to E-4 Corporal can also occur outside of promotion ceremonies.

Promotion Policy Overview

In order to create an atmosphere related to military simulation a promotion system resembling the U.S. Army's was needed. Requirements for Promotion
